What is PPR?

Sessions for Supervisors

Under section 9.2.9 of the QUT MOPP, all Supervisors involved in the PPR-AS process must attend training prior to conducting PPR-AS discussions with their staff. If a supervisor has professional staff reporting to them, then the PPR-PS procedure must be followed.

Session Details

Sessions run for approximately two hours and provide the supervisor with:

  1. Information in relation to PPR-As policy and supervisors responsibilities
  2. An understanding of the PPR-AS process
  3. Guidelines and suggestions for conducting PPR-AS conversations with staff including goal setting and providing feedback
  4. An opportunity to share knowledge and experiences with colleagues
  5. Other relevant information and materials

Sessions are provided on request. Heads of Schools or Supervisors of Academic Staff can contact their Faculty OD Consultant to discuss staff requirements.

Information Sessions for Staff

PPR-AS sessions will be held in association with Faculties to assist academic staff in managing professional goals by making PPR-AS a positive addition to career management and to help improve QUT’s performance culture through understanding the policy, process and linkages to the university. The Faculty-specific approach ensures that the PPR process is relevant and timely and will involve discussion about the structure of the PPR-AS process, including:

Sessions are offered on request and organised within the Faculty. Heads of School or Supervisors of Academic Staff can contact their Faculty OD Consultant to discuss requirements.
