Women in Leadership consists of programs and activities that enhance the development of academic and professional staff women at near-senior and senior levels at QUT.   Activities include:

Quality Women In Leadership Program

The Quality Women In Leadership Program is a one year leadership development experience designed specifically for near senior and senior QUT women who aspire to higher levels of University management.

Women In Research Program

The Women In Research program is an initiative of the Women in Leadership Committee and consists of a mix of activities to support women at different stages of their research career.

ATN WEXDEV

ATN Women’s Executive Development Program is a career development program designed for near-senior and senior women of five ATN Universities.

Clare Burton Memorial Lecture and Scholarship

Since 1999 ATN WEXDEV has combined with the Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Agency and with state women's advisors to host the Clare Burton Memorial Lecture in each capital city.   The Clare Burton Memorial Lecture and Scholarship commemorate the leading researcher, bureaucrat and academic Dr Clare Burton, a pioneering Australian researcher, activist and practitioner in the field of gender equity who died in 1998. The lectures focus on her specialist field of gender equity.
