Organisational Development is responsible for ensuring that QUT's Code of Conduct is translated into practical training workshops so that all staff comply with key policies and are wellversed in their practical application.

QUT's Code of Conduct guides the behaviour of all staff members. It defines the standards of behaviour required of all QUT staff and of other members of the University community. Where conduct falls below the standards of the Code, there may be an impact on the work environment and on QUT’s reputation. Where a staff member’s behaviour does not comply with the Code, this may lead to disciplinary action. It is therefore important that all staff members are familiar with the Code and understand their obligations under the Code. To assist staff understanding of the Code, an online training module has been developed focusing on the principles of the Code of Conduct.

Who is required to complete the Code of Code module

All new staff will be required to complete this module within the first month of joining QUT.

All other staff are expected to complete the module annually as part of the Performance Planning and Review process.

How to undertake the module

Staff can undertake the module by clicking on http://tinyurl.com/QUT-COC then clicking onto the self-enrol link.
