This program is designed for higher degree research (HDR) students who are also undertaking sessional teaching at QUT and have aspirations of becoming an academic.

Early Career Academic Recruitment and Development Program (Invitational Only)

This program is designed to assist in the development of early career academics (Level B), recently recruited to QUT.

Mid-Career Academic Development Program

This program is designed for mid-career academics (Levels B & C) who exhibit an interest and propensity to learn and develop, a capacity for building resilience and navigating ambiguity, and who demonstrate receptivity to feedback. They must show interest in developing their own and others' capabilities for better performance in core academic endeavours.

Promotion for Academic and Research Staff

QUT is committed to recognising and rewarding those accomplishments which further the University's mission.

In line with this commitment, QUT provides academic and research staff with access to a promotion scheme which focuses on demonstrated accomplishment across the areas of teaching, research and scholarship, and service.

Separate processes are in place for promotion to level B and promotion to levels C, D and E.
