After my PDL...

Within a month of your return you will have to provide a report on the program and the benefits gained to the Faculty/Division PDL Committee Secretary.

You are required to return to work at the University on completion of your program, for a period of time equal to the time you were away.

What about recreation leave while I'm on PDL?

You can take recreation leave while on your professional development program: if your program is longer than 3 months, recreation leave accruing during in time should be taken during the program.

Note: If recreation leave is greater than 50% of the total time away, you are required to pay half of the travel costs.
