Program overview
The Welcome to QUT staff orientation program is jointly presented by Human Resources (HR) and Teaching and Learning Support Services (TALSS) and provides new staff with detailed information on University wide matters to assist them with their integration into the University. Participants will become acquainted with:
- QUT's Blueprint, mission, goals and structure;
- Teaching, learning and research support available to academic staff;
- QUT practices, policies and processes;
- Services and benefits available to QUT staff;
- How to access further training and development opportunities.
Participants will hear from the Vice-Chancellor and representatives from HR and TALSS and have the opportunity to network with other new staff and senior managers at an informal morning tea and expo. At the expo you will be able to talk to service providers from across the University.
Target Group
All new staff including professional, academic and senior staff.
