The Indigenous Australian Employment and Career Development Strategy supports the employment and career development aspirations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
The Strategy also supports the employment objectives of employers across QUT.
The definition of who identifies as Indigenous
QUT uses the Commonwealth definition in relation to people who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
This definition is:
"An Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander is a person of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent who identifies as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and is accepted as such by the community in which he or she is associated."You are encouraged to contact the Strategy Advisor to discuss your aspirations and objectives if you are:
