Introduction

Ergonomic issues at QUT include workstation setup, manual handling, repetitive work, work flow design, and use of tools, to mention only some areas of work

Health and Safety Advisory Services offer training on computer safety. The purpose of the training is to enable staff, particularly supervisors, to acquire the skills and knowledge enabling them to make their own practices safe and provide advice and assistance to other staff in their work area. Computer Safety training includes a component of manual handling tasks for the office based worker. Contact Health and Safety on x89271 for further details.
