QUT Laboratory Safety Module online training

This online QUT Laboratory Safety Module training should be completed by all staff and students who are required to work in a laboratory environment and those that require instruction on chemical safety. The module covers a broad range of health and safety issues applicable to QUT laboratory environments. It is the responsibility of all relevant staff, supervisors and teachers to ensure that this training is undertaken in a timely manner. The online course includes a brief assessment and a survey to capture feedback.

Please click on the link below to undertake the training. The live portal provides access to the training and assessment modules, and the Training Register. Simply click on the QUT Laboratory Safety Module link on the portal and follow the prompts. Staff from non-English speaking backgrounds, those without access to a computer or who need assistanc to complete the module can do so with a supervisor or support officer either online or manually.
